Hillary Hasson, Executive Director
Hillary Hasson serves as Executive Director of the Center for Independent Living Opportunities (CIL Opportunities). Operated by and for people with disabilities (consumer-controlled and cross-disability), CIL Opportunities dedicates its efforts to eliminating barriers, ensuring civil rights and equal access, and promoting independent living through public education, social change activities, and direct services. In addition to her duties as CIL director, Hillary serves on consumer and professional organizations’ boards on the local and state levels – including the Pennsylvania Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) and the Pennsylvania Council on Independent Living (PCIL). As a member of the PCIL Board of Directors, she also serves as Treasurer and sits on the Public Policy and Finance committees. As a member of the SILC Board of Directors (a Governor appointed position), she sits on the Public Policy Committee. Hillary performs consulting work that includes coordinating Conference/Training Planning & Coordination (meeting or exceeding ADA Accessibility Guidelines) and performs ADA and UCC accessibility assessments
Mindy Hedrick, Program Director
Mindy received her degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University of York. She has been with the center since 2001 as an Independent Living Specialist. Currently, she is Program Director, which includes coordinating the IM4Q program and the PA Housing Program.
Eric Orr, Office Coordinator
Eric received a certificate of completion from Bradley Academy, for Multimedia Design. Also he received a Diploma for Networking from York Technical Institute.
Eric worked has a Asst. Program Manger at Images which is a program that promotes
health and fitness for people with mental and physical disabilities.
